Installing extension issues Windows 11
I have been trying to install the Ronixa extension with no success. I have made shure the appropriate folders have write permissions and I have also tried just copying the contens of the zip file to the storage/upload directory and nothing has worked. I would apreciate any help you can give me. Also, I'm working wwith Apache on my personal computer and accessing opencart through localhost.

Hi Kenneth,
Have you tried reaching out the developer of extension. if you have purchased the module/extension via opencart marketplace simply open the ticket.
If am not mistaken Ronixa is theme drag/drop builder correct me if am wrong.

It is a drag/drop builder. The issue is, that I cannot upload any extension using the extension installer in opencart. It simply doesn't do anything.

When I try to import an extension I get a popup that says “Local host says” and the rest is blank.

You should reach out to the extension developer for the support via opencart marketplace url. If you prefer it to be done by other professional i am open to take a look. My hourly rate starts from 50 USD/hr for opencart community

I have reached out but have not heard back from them as of yet.

If you don't hear back from them maybe then its time to outsource to someone like me.

Hi, if you’re installing the Ronixa extension on OpenCart (Windows 11 + localhost), try these checks:
- Make sure the extension is installed via Extensions → Installer, not just copied manually.
- After upload, go to Extensions → Modifications and click Refresh.
- Confirm write permissions for:
- storage/
- storage/upload/
- system/
- admin/
- Check storage/logs/error.log for any installation errors.
- Ensure the extension version matches your OpenCart version.
- If using localhost + Apache, restart Apache and clear browser cache.
Manual copying usually doesn’t register the extension properly, so using the Installer + Modifications refresh is important.

Extension installation issues on Windows 11 can be really frustrating, especially when everything looks fine but the extension just refuses to show up or keeps failing during setup. In most cases it helps to check if Windows Security or your browser permissions are blocking the installation, or if the system needs a quick update or restart before changes actually take effect. I’ve noticed that Windows 11 can be a bit strict with new installs compared to older versions, so even small permission conflicts can cause unexpected errors. It’s a bit like how Nimipäivä tänään listings work in Finland—you expect a simple, smooth daily update of names, but if the data source doesn’t refresh properly, suddenly the whole list feels “missing” or outdated even though everything is still there in the background. Have you noticed whether the issue happens with all extensions or just a specific one?
