We are currently experiencing an issue with downloadable products where orders are not processing correctly. Customers may find that after completing their purchase, the download link is not being generated or delivered as expected of pixmig’s wooden cover albums. This disruption appears to be affecting the automated fulfillment system responsible for providing access to digital files.

I've noticed this too. Downloadable orders sometimes show as complete, but the files aren’t accessible or the email doesn’t go out. Really hope this gets sorted soon—it’s starting to affect customer experience.

    Hi there,
I’ve seen this issue before in OpenCart, especially with downloadable products. A few things to double-check:

    1. Status of the Order – Downloads are only available once the order status matches the one set under System > Settings > Option > Complete Order Status (usually “Complete”). Make sure your orders are actually reaching that status.
    2. File Upload Location – Ensure that your downloadable files are stored in the correct directory (/storage/download in newer versions. Also, confirm that the files are properly linked in the product setup.
    3. Filename & Mask Settings – In Catalog > Downloads, make sure both the filename and mask are correctly filled in. The filename should match the actual file, and the mask is what customers will see.
    4. Permissions & Paths – Double-check that your /storage/download folder has the right permissions (usually 755) and that no redirects or security modules (like .htaccess rules) are blocking access.
    5. SSL/HTTPS Issues – If you recently enabled HTTPS, some OpenCart installations might block download links if the path isn’t correctly configured for SSL.

Also, check your error logs (under System > Maintenance > Error Logs), you might find more clues there.
